Syed Ali Saeed is an Indiana University School of Law graduate with a background in Mechanical Engineering. Ali is a practicing attorney and founding partner at Saeed & Little, LLP. Ali has a uniquely diverse set of legal experiences allowing him to provide legal counsel to business owners and businesses in a way not many can. Ali has over a decade of experience in: (1) complex litigation (including class actions and mass torts); (2) serving as general counsel for many small and medium sized companies, large corporations and publicly traded companies; and (3) structuring estate plans for young families and business owners. With this diverse legal experience in his armory, Ali now heads Saeed & Little, LLP’s Corporate and Estate Planning Practice Groups. 

As a litigator, Ali has represented both consumers and businesses (against other businesses) and has successfully litigated a wide variety of disputes. As a consumer advocate, Ali has been part of some of the largest class-action lawsuits in the country involving consumer protection and civil rights statutes and negotiated settlements worth more than 85 million dollars on behalf of consumers and citizens. As a general counsel, Ali represents several small- to medium-sized businesses, as well as large publicly traded corporations as general counsel. Ali has represented such businesses through numerous multi-million-dollar deals, compliance audits, mergers, and acquisitions, as well as litigations involving contractual and IP disputes against other businesses. Ali’s diverse legal experience helps focus his clients on what is truly important for mitigating their exposure and avoiding legal disputes. As an estate planning attorney, Ali has worked hard to develop thoughtful and meaningful estate planning strategies for young families and business owners. The firm prides itself on providing tailored services to its clients while concurrently filling gaps in the industry that often leave families exposed to unnecessary costs, taxes, court and conflict. As an acknowledgment of his contributions to the legal field, Ali has been repeatedly nominated by his peers as a Super Lawyer each year since 2016.

Ali is also deeply engaged in the local Indiana Community and frequently volunteers his professional and personal time for various causes. He is the President and founding member of an advocacy group, IMAN Advocates. Ali has or continues to serve as a board member or in a leadership role in a number of other non-profit organizations including National Association of Consumer Advocates, Seeds of Learning, Muslim Alliance of Indiana, New Citizens Project and Heartland Pro-bono Project. In 2016, Ali was a recipient of the Access to Justice Award for his efforts and contributions in the non-for profit world and promoting social justice. In 2021, Ali was awarded the Trailblazer award for his contributions as a civic leader by the Kennedy King Memorial Initiative.
